I have school-age children. Where can I find information on local schools?
Provo City School District
Alpine School District (Orem, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Highland, Eagle Mountain, Lindon, Alpine, Saratoga Springs, American Fork)
Nebo School District (Springville, Mapleton, Spanish Fork, Payson)
Utah Elementary School Rankings
Utah State Office of Education Assessment Reports
We are privileged to have a great school district here in Provo. The district is very well run and the testing scores are above average. Wasatch Elementary School is ranked #4 in the state. Provo City School District does have an open enrollment policy. If you are not happy with the school that is located closest to you, you can send them to a school you like better if they have open slots. You just need to go to the Provo School District office and get a request form which you need to fill out and return to the school of your choice.
There is also the option of charter schools. There are two in the area that come well recommended:
